Visa renewal is applicable for a tourist visa and visit visa. By conducting renewal, the applicant extends the duration of the visa for a specified period of time. This specified period is 30 days and the renewal can be conducted two times. Visa renewal allows the applicant to continue the stay for the specified period of time without committing an exit.
The subsequent renewal must be conducted before the first renewal expires. The applicant is supposed to pay a visa renewal fee of AED 600 for a single renewal.
And those individuals who violate the rules regarding the duration of stay and fail to renew are liable for a fine. The fine amount is AED 100 per day and is considered from ten days subsequent to the date of expiry.
However, there are few exceptions for visa renewal. The visa renewal is not applicable for the individuals who are:
